The main function of drain valve in heating system is let the sewage water out of heating system from manifold end,the using is same as ball valve.
Product should be used under the following conditions:
1.Work pressure:≤1.0 MPa (Note: The working pressure required by customers can be different from that ofvalves.In the use of working pressure, it must not exceed the working pressure printed by the valve body and
handle of our company's products).
2.Applicable media: cold and hot water.
3.Working temperature range: 0-100℃.At low temperature, the medium shall be liquid or gaseous,and no ice or solid particles shall exist in the medium.
Installation matters needing attention:
1.Please select the valve according to the working condition.If the valve is used beyond the scope of technical specifications,it will damage or even burst. Or,although the valve can still be used normally,the service life of the valve will be shortened.
2.Choose the appropriate tool (wrench) according to the size of the valve during installation, and fix the end of the assembly thread to avoid the stress of the valve body. Excessive installation torque may cause valve damage.
3.Expansion joints or expansion bends should be installed for long pipelines to eliminate the stress imposed on valves by thermal expansion and contraction of pipelines.
4.The front and rear ends of the valves should be fixed to prevent the valve from being damaged by bending stress due to the weight of pipes and media.
5.Valves should be in full open state during installation. When the pipeline is flushed and installed, the valves can enter the working state.
matters needing attention in use:
1.The opening and closing moment of long-time unswitched ball valves is larger than that of normal ones when they are first opened and closed.After one switch, the opening and closing moment enters normal state.
2.When leakage is found in the middle hole of the ball valve, the pressure cap on the middle hole of the ball valve can be properly tightened clockwise with an open wrench to prevent leakage. Too tight rotation will increase the opening and closing moment.
3.Under the working condition, the ball valve is opened or closed as far as possible, which helps to prolong the service life of the ball valve.
4.If the medium inside the valve is frozen, it can be thawed slowly with hot water.No fire or steam spraying is allowed.
